For ondes Martenot & piano - French music which can be included in a mixed programme alongside newer creations:

Les Trois Poèmes d'André Jolivet pour onde & piano (1935, 16')

L'eau d'Olivier Messiaen (1937, 10')

This is the exact melodic phrase + harmony of the Louange à l'éternité de Jésus for cello and piano (5th movement in Quartet for the End of Time) - this song was orginally written for 6 ondes Martenot for a sound and light show presented along the Seine for the 1937 Universal Exhibition in Paris.

Tigres de Verre de Tristan Murail (1974, 7')

A very effective work as Tristan Murail was an Ondes Martenot player, he knew how to write an exciting piece for the instrument.
